Welcome to Graze Dat!

Our Story

My name is Liz and I'm the founder of Graze Dat! I'm a foodie at heart. I always have been, and I suppose a large part of it is due to being raised in a farming community in what then was Zimbabwe-Rhodesia. My parents, Ray and Jean, were academics and well-loved community leaders, and both loved working in our family garden and orchard. So spending time there with them, my siblings, and an assortment of cousins planted the seed of a love and appreciation of food that I still cherish to this very day.

Fast forward to a virtual craft beer tasting (where I quickly figured out that food was essential for such an event). I'd made a charcuterie board for myself, and my virtual guests started asking questions about what I'd put together. My sister and friends started encouraging me (as they always do) by dropping hints and sending all sorts of pictures and articles about charcuterie. And before you know it, I was making sample boxes, one of which was posted on the popular Facebook foodie group "Where Black NOLA Eats," and everyone was ordering and grazing this and "dat."

Since our inception, we've gone through many iterations of types and sizes of our grazing creations, ingredients, and ways to distribute them. One thing you can count on is that each board is crafted with love. We use the most flavorful meats, an array of artisanal cheeses, and fine, fresh produce to round it all out. Each customized creation is designed to ensure that you get what you want and are happy with it. We strive to maintain the integrity of our product from start to finish because we know without you, there is no Graze Dat!
